Words hold power, but design gives them voice.

In editorial design, typography becomes narrative, rhythm becomes structure, and every detail — from margin to weight — shapes how ideas are understood and remembered.

My work in this field spans over two decades, leading projects for publishers, universities, and institutions that trust design not just as decoration, but as a way to think.

Branding

Case Study I
Big Bang Colors
Identity as Structured Expansion

Big Bang Colors was a print supply and digital printing company whose identity was conceived as a system rather than a standalone mark. The process began with a typographic analysis of the name and the hand-drawn construction of a symbol capable of expressing both technical rigor and chromatic dynamism.

The symbol functions as the generative core of the brand, organizing spatial relationships, proportion, and application logic across formats. Its free formal energy is intentionally embedded within rational layout structures, resolving tension between playfulness and precision. The chromatic system draws from the primary colors of print production, with orange acting as a strategic accent to reinforce hierarchy and cohesion.
